Prof Hellas Cena and Dr Rachele De Giuseppe, are proud to announce the organization of a dedicated session on “Artificial Intelligence and Smart Technologies for the Health of the Future” as part of the 24th ANSISA National Congress. The event will take place on March 15 and 16 at Clinica ICS Maugeri in Pavia (Italy)

A Hub for Innovation in Clinical Nutrition

ANSISA (Associazione Nazionale Specialisti In Scienza dell’Alimentazione), a non-profit scientific organization devoted to advancing scientific research in Dietetics and  Nutrition, has built a reputation for promoting best practices in clinical nutrition in line with Evidence-Based Medicine. The organization is committed to enhancing patient care through the dissemination of nutritional education programs and broader initiatives aimed at fostering healthy lifestyles, all while strictly upholding principles of autonomy, independence, political neutrality, and religious impartiality.

A Pivotal National Congress

Every year, ANSISA’s National Congress gathers health care professionals and medical scientists to explore the latest innovations and challenges in clinical nutrition. This year’s congress will serve as a pivotal platform for discussing emerging technologies, personalized nutritional therapies, and sustainable practices. The event targets a wide range of professionals, including medical doctors (from all specialties), dietitians, pharmacists, nurses, pediatric nurses, biologists, psychologists, and midwives. Participants will also earn 9 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits through the program organized by SALUS Internazionale ECM.

Exploring the Future of Healthcare with AI

A highlight of the congress is Session 3, which will provide an in-depth exploration of the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and smart technologies in healthcare. Experts will discuss:

Remote Healthcare Innovations: How AI-driven solutions are revolutionizing diagnostics, patient monitoring, and personalized treatment plans.

Data-Driven Nutrition: The integration of AI in nutritional planning to support personalized dietary recommendations and metabolic health optimization.

AI in Oncology: The development of predictive models for early detection, enhancing intervention strategies, and supporting tailored treatments for cancer patients.

Maternal Health Applications: The role of intelligent systems in monitoring pregnancy, offering nutritional guidance, and conducting early risk assessments for mothers and infants.

Strengthening Collaborative Impact

The session is further bolstered by the sponsorship of AI2MED, whose support enhances the congress’s credibility, visibility, and overall impact within both the scientific and medical communities. This collaboration not only underscores a commitment to technological innovation but also fosters mutual engagement and knowledge exchange among key stakeholders.

By bridging advanced AI applications with clinical nutrition and healthcare, the event aims to set the stage for future advancements that will ultimately improve patient care and health outcomes.
